It's been decided.

We aren't starting solid food until Isla June is 6 months old, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be bananas (unless I can find something to the contrary).
And I'm going to breast-feed for one year.
There, I said it, so it's official.
More info to come.

    1. Hi Amanda! This new blogger platform is terrible and deleted your comment. Ugh! Sorry.
I did actually breast feed for a year. We ended up supplementing with some fresh goats milk at the end because my supply dwindled. As far as solid food goes. We waited until she was 6 months for solids and her first solid food was sweet potatoe, then avocado. And as far as feeding goes, we followed the Baby Led weaning approach. A lot of Pediatrician's recommend starting solids at 4 months, but the AAP actually recommends waiting until 6 months. Not sure why there is a discrepancy there! Good luck with your little guy!
