Sorry for the hiatus (yet again.) Life is busy, busy, busy.
So, back to the big news. Jer got a new job! In Myrtle Beach! Wooohooo! We are so, so excited. We headed down to Myrtle Beach last weekend for Jer to meet the company members, and the sales team. He was very excited about everything that he saw and we really felt like this was the path that God was opening for us. We've been praying for Jer's career to head in a certain direction, and this opportunity is a great promotion for him. It's exactly the path that we have been praying for. And, for me, I get to stay at home and be a full time mom to Isla June. Like I said, answered prayers. To say that I am counting down the days until summer is a bit of an understatement, I miss that little girl more and more everyday.
And as much as I was nervous about Myrtle Beach (I mean, Jer refers to as the Redneck Riviera), I was delightfully surprised. There is so much to do down there (and I love stuff to "do"!). And a big plus is that we are going to live walking distance to the beach! Isla June and I are going to be serious beach bunnies this summer. I'm already looking into cute sun hats, baby sunglasses and reusable cloth bathing suits for her! I can't wait!
But, on a somber note, we are moving farther away from my family. I've already promised my mom some good quality trips once a month. It's going to work out, but it's hard to leave the grandparents. It's only 3 hours, Mimi!
Here are a couple of pics from our trip

She liked the sand!
