Puppetting

A couple of weeks ago (yes, I'm a little behind...), the Library offered a puppet show.  In truth, they canceled story time for puppet time.  So, it was our only option.
But, I thought that it might be fun for Isla June to experience her first "performance".
Even if it was with microfiber actors.
Being the smart mommy that I am, I brought along a snack for Isla June while she enjoyed the performance.  Most of the children in the room were older, and I was afraid that my little one would be the rascal walking around and talking to everyone/causing a raucous.
But, she did pretty good and sat in her chair, eating her snack.

For about 4 minutes.  Yep, that's all I got.

I think, because we were in a different room, Isla June needed to explore.
So, we headed out to see all of the books.
and we spent about 15 minutes with them.

But, if books are her thing, I'm not going to complain.
