We have had the most beautiful weather in Myrtle Beach lately. It's been a little crazy and up and down, but a solid week of sunshine is something to be grateful for.
So, with our gratitude, we decided to trek over to the beach.
I really shouldn't say trek because it's probably only 1 block away.
It was probably around 4 pm, so the tide was low. And we were practically the only ones on the beach.
and Isla June promptly sat down to dig in the sand. She's really gotten into looking for the perfect digging shell, and them smaller pretty shells to hold in her hand. It's her thing I guess.
Stomping her way to the water. I really thought she was over the water at this point. But, she must have forgotten how cold it was last time she stuck her foot in there.
Looking for birds is one of her favorite activities right now.
and she'll ask me for "more" birds. Like I can make them magically appear. Atleast she thinks I can. And maybe that's not a bad thing; thinking mommy has control of such things.
But, here's the thing. She chase the bird, the bird runs into the water, and guess where Isla June goes.
Taking pictures and running down a toddler was not so easy. I've really got to think like 3 steps ahead of her.
Here she is calculating her attack plan.
Admitting defeat. Could be misconstrued as a tantrum.
