Cooking Lesson 1

The first installment of
How to Cook if you Don't Know How to Cook!
The next time you're at the store, pick-up these 5 items*
  1.  Garlic Powder
  2. Mrs. Dash Original Blend
  3. Mrs. Dash Southwestern Chipotle Blend
  4. Stubb's Chicken Marinade (I like this one the best because it doesn't have any High Fructose Corn Syrup in it.)
  5. Extra Virgin Olive Oil- we cook with this instead of vegetable oil
And while you're there, pick up some chicken breasts or thighs (whichever one, doesn't matter) and your favorite frozen vegetable (ours is organic broccoli).

See?  Easy, peasy.  I promised I would make this simple.
anddddd...go.

*I've pretty much learned that I can't go wrong with any of these spices- I put them  on everything.
Also, if you actually can cook, don't laugh.  This is for those of us struggling to put an edible, healthy meal on the table.

  1. I'd add soy sauce and fish sauce - we make a lot of asian food, and i have learned that these two make all food delicious.
yahoo for you - cooking is fun!

  2. Good point! I don't cook with either one of those sauces, but I know my dad and sister do, so I always have to keep them stocked!
