So, when I started this blog, I thought I would have all kinds of thoughts and opinions about this crazy thing called pregnancy and the crazy stuff that is happening in our lives. But, in between doctor's appointments, it really is a little boring. But, I want to keep everyone interested in the blog, and maybe some of you out there really do want to know EVERYTHING that is going on. So, here's an update:
-We are officially in the Second Trimester (17.5 weeks)
- I am feeling pretty good. I've only thrown up 2 times in 3 1/2 weeks (Woohooo!!)
- Weight gain= 7-8lbs. (There will be a point when I stop sharing this information)
- I haven't felt any kicking or movement yet, but they say that's normal for a first time pregnancy. I'm really excited about the prospect of feeling something, I think that this will make everything REAL.
I started back at the gym over the holidays and have tried to go whenever I can fit it into my schedule and I have the energy. This week, I went to a class called "Max Muscle" that I used to take every Monday up until my 7th week of pregnancy when I had to stop. I must say that I kept up pretty good for a pregnant lady and was able to modify some of the moves if needed. I was kind of sore the next day, but I rested on Tues, and Wed. and Thurs. Sooo, don't worry that I am going to become a gym fanatic or anything. I just want to stay healthy throughout all of this. I figured that if I just sit on my butt for 9 months, labor is going to be a very rude awakening.
